Friday April 26th, 2024 to Sunday April 28th, 2024
THE BOND ACADEMY
The BOND Academy, our yearly conference, is a collaboration between The BOND Project and The Center for Research and Mentoring Black Male Students and Teachers at Bowie State University. This year’s event will take place from April 26th through April 28th at Bowie State University, the oldest HBCU in Maryland. The Academy will feature powerful presentations and discussions on instructional strategies, career advancement, community building, cultural proficiency, and social emotional learning, primarily through the lens of male educators of color. Practitioners at every level of education (teachers, professors, counselors, para-educators, administrators, central office staff, student teachers) are welcome, as well as community leaders, board of education members, elected officials, and interested community members.
